The hotel was charming, small, and luxurious. I loved the streets of Castro Verde. My room had central heating, cable channels, and a writing desk. the bathtubs in the private bathroom were a plus. the staff were pleasant and nice. the location was good, right in the center. Nucleo dos Aivados was a 10-15 minute walk from here.

This small hotel had quiet atmosphere. The room was modern and brand-new with nice balcony - we loved it. Hair dryers, shower caps, and bath sheets was a plus.

The location was excellent and particularly good yet it was a short way from downtown area, just 5 minutes by foot. The place had a quiet atmosphere. The breakfast was exceptionally nice with many options.

Excellent location for exploring countryside of Baixo Alentejo. A little hard to find in Castro Verde (take a street map and it should be straightforward). Very good value for money. Room quite small but modern, extremely clean, with TV (local channels only) and air conditioning. Breakfast served at time to please (6am), continental style buffet including freshly cooked bread rolls. Service with a smile. Very pleasant stay.

The Hotel was in a wonderful location with great views.The staff of the Hotel were extremely friendly and efficient.We would recommend this Hotel to couples and families.

The double room is brand new and equipped with a minibar, a flat-screen TV with cable channels, and climate control. the staff at Hotel Vila Verde are extremely friendly and helpful. - the location of the hotel is excellent, right in the center.

I was given double room with an air conditioning, a minibar, and an electronic key card. The location was magnificent and particularly good, close enough to local restaurant, in a fairly nice area.

The staff was very nice and we get a room with a balcony that allowed us to see the firework of the 25th April celebrations. It was fantastic! The breakfast was also good.

We were pleasantly surprised by the warm welcome and exceptional hospitality at Vila Verde. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable and even stored our bikes for us. The dinner setup provided in the hotel was a nice touch, and we loved being served ginja. The wine and local recommendations were greatly appreciated. we felt incredibly welcome and would highly recommend this hotel to any travelers visiting Castro Verde.

Friendly and helpful Reception staff, well appointed rooms, good breakfast, good central location. Great stopping off point for touring that part of the Alentejo. Good local restaurants.

Hotel Villa Verde exceeded my expectations . It is a completely refurbished and modern hotel. We had a large patio balcony with a spectacular view of the country side and sunset. Not a tourist town , it is a perfect place to stop while exploring the area on the way south or a base for day excursions . Restaurants and cafes are great without the touristy jazz up. Staff were very helpful and spoke english very well. The breakfast was also good . Get some fresh bread from the bakery down the street. Sandy from Canada
